"The Memory of a City" - Ayşin YAZICI

Born in Zonguldak in 1979, Ayşin Yazıcı graduated in 2000 from the Department of Economics at Anadolu University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in Eskişehir. She spent many years working at international media agencies, creating visual designs for numerous global brands. This experience shaped her approach to color, form, balance, and visual storytelling. As her interest in art developed into a distinctive means of expression, her background in design continued to inform the contemporary aesthetic of her work. Drawing inspiration from Cubism, abstract art, and modern art, Yazıcı translates emotions, ideas, and the impressions left by life onto canvas through color, layers, and form. She seeks to create a personal connection with the viewer through each piece. For her, art is both a visual language and a space where emotions can be expressed freely.
