Biography

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been designing and making things for myself and the people around me. Most of what I created was given as gifts rather than sold. I am self-taught, learning through curiosity, experimentation, and a lifelong love of creating. After more than 30 years in the fashion industry as a model and stylist—bringing the final touch to someone else’s creative vision—AI abruptly changed the profession I had built my life around. Almost overnight, everything I thought I had professionally was gone. Painful as it was, it gave me the courage and the time to finally pursue the dream I had been putting off for years. Nature has always been my greatest inspiration. I love its imperfect curves, organic textures, and unique patterns. Working with wool, felt, leather, brass, and reclaimed materials, I create one-of-a-kind pieces that give forgotten objects a new life and purpose. I believe beauty doesn’t have to be perfect or new. Sometimes the most meaningful creations are born from materials that have already lived a life and still have another story to tell.
