Artwork Description: This surreal artwork in both concept and execution takes us deep into the human inner space. I portrayed the main figure in a surreal setting that represents the universe within oneself. A person can never fully understand themselves without going through the journey of life, which helps them discover the corners and hidden places of their own being. The idea of space transforms here into one’s personal world. The figure’s eyes are open he is trying to see, to understand, to ask: “Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going?” In this piece, I used oil paints the first and truest friend of any painter. They express thoughts and emotions with depth and sensitivity. I mixed the colors myself and created this figure as a reflection of that inner journey. The blue sphere above his head, with its soft gradient, represents the world. Sometimes, we compress our entire universe into one shape. From there, the figure begins to dive from outer space into the deep space of the soul. The colors at the bottom of the painting symbolize the city. The figure appears much larger than the city itself, and its lights seem small in comparison. He has risen above the noise, above the material world, toward a wider, freer horizon.
