Once More - Nasrah Nefer

Nasrah Nefer is a German-Egyptian visual artist, author, curator, and founder/director of LUMEN ART Gallery. She studied art in Italy with Francesco Santini in Sardinia and continued her artistic education in Germany. Her academic studies at the University of Cologne included Egyptology, Archaeology, and Islamic Studies. Before and alongside her work in visual art, Nefer completed nine years of dance education and accumulated more than twenty years of stage experience. This connection between body, movement, space, and emotional expression continues to influence her visual language. Her artistic work investigates consciousness, identity, transformation, spirituality, and the relationship between visible reality and inner experience. Her paintings frequently combine figurative and abstract structures with metaphysical and psychedelic elements. With 24 solo exhibitions and around 40 group exhibitions, her work has been presented internationally, including in Germany, Italy, Spain, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Dubai.
