Queen of Perisa - ALi YUSUF

2.900$
Queen of Persia is a contemporary mixed-media portrait inspired by Farah Pahlavi, the former Empress of Iran. The work explores cultural memory, femininity, identity, elegance and the enduring relationship between historical imagery and contemporary visual culture. A high-resolution printed image on canvas is transformed through a meticulous process of hand-applied acrylic paint, crystals, stones, beads and glossy finishing. The reflective and tactile elements create a rich surface that changes with the surrounding light, bringing a sense of luxury and physical depth to the historical portrait. By combining a recognizable historical figure with contemporary materials and decorative craftsmanship, the work creates a dialogue between Persian cultural heritage and modern luxury aesthetics. Created in 2018, Queen of Persia is a unique, one-of-a-kind artwork, signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. text on the face : بگذربگذاربگذرد .Shipped Framed

Ali Yusuf is a contemporary painter and mixed-media artist based in Turkey, whose practice explores identity, emotion, cultural memory, luxury, and the relationship between contemporary visual culture and traditional craftsmanship. Working primarily with acrylic paint, printed imagery, gold leaf, crystals, stones, beads, and other tactile materials, Yusuf transforms layered surfaces into highly detailed, contemporary artworks. His process combines painting and material intervention, creating a dialogue between image, texture, light, and physical presence. His work moves between contemporary abstraction, portraiture, symbolism, and cultural references, often using familiar imagery to explore deeper ideas of identity, femininity, memory, strength, and modern life. With more than 15 years of independent studio practice, Yusuf develops each work through a meticulous, hands-on process. His artworks are created as unique or limited-edition pieces, individually finished, signed, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
